I
graduated from high school in 1986. I attended Buffalo State
University, and obtained a bachelor's degree in Business
Administration. in 1991. Unfortunately, as soon as I graduated,
I came to the realization that that was not going to be my
career. I moved to San Diego right
after graduation. I was invited as a guest speaker at a high
school to talk about the importance of being bilingual .
It was then, that I decided to become a teacher. I entered
SDSU in 1995 to obtain my teaching credential. I earned a
BCLAD Single Subject Teaching Credential in Spanish in 1996. I
decided to give school a break and dedicate myself to teaching
for about three years. Then, I joined the SDSU Educational
Technology Masters program, which I finished in December
of 2002. It took me a while, but it was well worth it.
